Creative Hope is a Non Profit Organization based in the Western Cape of South Africa. The need for artisic stimulation became evident when founder of Creative Hope. Penny Jansen van Vuuren became aware of how the frail Seniors needed an creative outlet to give them something to look forward to. Penny started by visiting the Old Age Homes, and her passion for the Seniors grew as she started Arts & Crafts sessions with them.
The main focus at present is the Seniors in the Frail Care centres with Dimentia, Alzeimers, Parkisons disease, strokes and other illnesses and they require 24 hour nursing care. This is an elderly person or a Senior citizen who needs nursing assistance for dressing, washing, ablutions, mobilizing as well as assistance with medicines, and often feeding.
Creative Hope aims to create Hope through Love & Art therapy for our Seniors in Frail care.
